This challenges stereotypes of dominant male and carefree teenage protagonists in the genre.

Our film represents gender and age as social groups. For gender, we chose a male protagonist to fit the stereotypical post-apocalyptic genre but planned to challenge other conventions. He is dressed as a clear survivor based on the protagonists in I Am Legend and The Book of Eli. For age, we chose a teenager instead of the typical adult protagonist to relate better to our target 15-25 year old audience for this genre. - 3. LZ Graderson captured the attention of the audience and kept the engagement of the audience by referencing things people can relate to creating a connection between the audience and the speaker. He got the audience's emotions involved in the presentation as well. He kept the audience interested with small jokes and his own anecdotes that he has experienced. Capturing an Audience

LZ had slight difficulty on the flow of his presentation but still got his point across efficiently. I believe that Sir Ken Robinson’s theme was more interesting and more unique than LZ because there has been less talk about it in the media. Compare/Contrast
