Write your first draft as soon as possible after
you have finisher your preparation outline.

your friends.

from your preparation outline.

7. Don’t be afraid of writing too much for your
first draft.
Allow a cooling-off period before you revise
and write the first draft of your manuscript.
A manuscript speech should have a specific
form.
A manuscript should be divided inti 3 parts: the
introduction,body and conclusion.
A manuscript should be typed or printed.
A manucript must be legible at a glance.
Multiple of manuscript should be numbered.
A manuscript should be neat in appearance,punctuated
correctly,grammatical errors,etc.

Always practice with the same key word
outline,note cards or manuscript
Always practice your speech as if you were
delivering it to your intended audience
Go through the entire speech during each
practice
Don’t try your speech the same way eavh timr

wording of your speeech
Practice your speech aloud with the same
volume
Practice your speech each time with whatever
visual aids you plan to use
Time your speech in practice
Practice teh way you will approach the speaker’s
stand at beginning and leave it the conclusion
Use a tape o video recorder
Try to practice at least once in the room
