Robert has an anger issue and assessing attitude where he gets angry easily over small things, though he does not believe he has a problem. For example, he screamed at friends in the car after one forgot their wallet. He would continue babbling angrily about past incidents and argue with anyone who tried to calm him down. Due to his regular outbursts, his friends find it best to stay quiet around him. Though his friends have suggested anger management help, Robert refuses to acknowledge he has an issue.

Concept: Assessing Attitude
There is this person I shall not mention his real name but lets just call him
Robert. Robert has this really bad anger issue but he always said that he doesn’t.
Everyone around him usually can’t stand his anger. He has this Assessing
Attitude. Assessing attitude is atitudes that are easier to assess if they are
explicit versus implicit where a person may not even be aware of their own
implicit attitudes.
He would get angry on very little things easily. For example like there is this
day we were going out. So yeah he drove the car and suddenly my friend told
him that he forgot his wallet back in his apartment. Then he started screaming at
my other friend for forgetting his wallet.
He would just babble the whole journey when his driving and nag about why
did he forget to bring his wallet. Then one thing led to another he would bring
out the past and babble about the past about my friend kept on forgetting his
stuff.
I always tell him to calm down and then he start to argue with me. So majority
of the time I would prefer just to sit there and keep quiet so that he would just
end his story sooner.
When he is all calm down I tried telling him to go for anger management
program because he has serious anger issues and sometimes It gets overbroad
then he would argue with me and said he don’t have this anger issues and he will
said that he never argue with us with a harsh tone. He don’t realize that he have
this anger issues. One day I would just record his voice when he starts his
argument or teach him a lesson and hope he learn from it
