How to provide healthy food
What is providing healthy food?
Providing healthy food is the provision of a variety of food that contains
vitamins that help maintain one’s health. These includes natural, organic
and whole foods .
● Choose products that list whole grains
as the first ingredient. For example,
whole grain breads or whole-wheat
flour. Whole grains are low in fat and
high in fiber. They also contain
complex carbohydrates (carbs), which
help you feel full longer and prevent
overeating. Avoid products that say
“enriched” or contained with other
types of grains or flours. They do not
have the same nutrients.
Eat with moderation.Following the healthy
plate.

History and Impact of Ventures
Boost juice bars is a juice bar which sells mostly healthy smoothies and juices.
Boost Juice Bars™ was born in 2000 in sunny Australia, when Janine Allis (mum of
three) decided there was a lack of healthy options out there for her and her kids….
Following a trip to the U.S she noticed that Juice Bars were popping up
everywhere. So upon returning to Australia she developed a business plan and
raised $250,000 through friends investing in the concept to get the plan underway.
The first store opened in Adelaide in 2000, and over the following six years more
than 250 stores have opened throughout Australia and the rest of the world.
HISTORY
IMPACT
The first Boost store started juicing in November 2006 and has grown to 16
stores in Singapore and 60 in Malaysia. Expansion plans for 2016 continue
to be exciting – with many more stores in Singapore coming soon! The
cups are not made from any CFFs or any other Ozone depleting products.
Compared to paper cups, polystyrene cups from Boost are significantly
less resource-intensive to manufacture, requiring less raw materials,
electricity and water than paper cups.Lastly, Boost has provided
Singaporeans an alternative lifestyle and diet choices.
