The Wisdom mentioned in Proverbs 1:21; 8:1-36; and 9:1-5; etc. - was the Son of the living
God(the Father); even though the context of whole book of Proverbs was obviously quasi-poetic or
poetic(encomium), the mystery of the meaning of Chapter 1, 8, 9, etcetera; is attributed to the firstborn
Son of God known as Jesus the messiah). But, behind that metaphorical word - it does illustrate the
personified meaning of Jesus the Christ that has a title called “Wisdom of God”. But, it doesn’t described
as literal wisdom of God(the Father) concerning on those chapters and verses from above.
Then, why ‘She(or with feminine pronoun in a sentence)’ is used in Proverbs 8 and other
chapters regarding Wisdom? Metaphorically, ‘She’ refers to Subordination and Inferiority of Son toward
his Father(God) which is the ‘He’ means Superordinate or Superior. Though, in some instances like in
Proverbs 5:3-6, - it was referring to a literal ‘She(specific woman)’; but, ‘wisdom’ was also
allegorical(symbolical) concerning Proverbs 7:4 aside from Proverbs 8. Furthermore, if there’s a pronoun
‘She’ in a sentence or paragraph; chapters and passages – it doesn’t mean that the WISDOM/Wisdom is
a true female/lady or with a feminine gender; conclusively, it is still considered as metaphoric or
allegoric in an abstract form.
In English grammar, the word wisdom is grammatically neuter, but in Hebrew, Greek and some
dialects, it is fundamentally feminine. The word ‘wisdom’ itself is from a Hebrew word, ‘chokmâh’ and in
Greek word, ‘Sophia’. Although, not all context of the book of Proverbs are all literal but some are
figurative.

There are UPPERCASE or with Uppercase, and lowercase used for the terms such as WISDOM or
Wisdom(Son of God’s Title as representative of God concerning Father’s wisdom) and wisdom(literal
wisdom of God the Father and also a wisdom attained from God the Father through his Son as an agent)
to signify their respective differences:
1. WISDOM or Wisdom – A metaphorical title of Jesus as an agent of God by showing his
Father’s wisdom for the chosen nation which is the Israelites. (See: Proverbs 8).
2. wisdom or wisdom
a. a literal wisdom of God. (See: Proverbs 3:19).
b. a wisdom given from God by means of His agent which is the Son(a representative of
God’s wisdom). (See: 2 Chronicles 1:12).

So the God(the Father) showed his wisdom and power through his Son or the Son shows(as a
representative) God’s wisdom and power towards Israelites(1 Corinthians 1:24). Also, the reason why
Jesus Christ was called the Wisdom of God(a title) because the Son demonstrate the wisdom of his
God(the Father that cannot see) to the Servants(such as: Prophets, Kings, etc.) while, the Servants of
God(Father) show it to the Israel Nation from the time of the Old Testament even in New
Testament(Matthew 23:1,34; Luke 11:49; John 1:18; 5:37; 6:46; 1 Corinthians 1:21-31; 1 Timothy 6:16).
Additionally, I personally recognized OT, NT, AB & DSS as an accepted and preserved
translations. But, I’m neutral pertaining to LB and with lack of confidence regarding to the NHS & other
Apocryphal Gospels.
