How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary textaminab96
The combination of the initial music video and print task (album cover and magazine advert) was ineffective at portraying the artist's personality. The print task depicted her as sweet and innocent which did not match the fierce and strong personality shown in the video. After realizing this mismatch, the group reshoot the print task with a more stylish outfit, makeup, and facial expressions to better align with the video. The new print task successfully captured the artist's powerful and bitchy personality as seen in the video, making the combination of the two products much more effective. However, fully matching the level of emotion between the video and print proved challenging.
The document discusses costume planning for a music video for the song "Hey There Delilah" by The Plain White T's. It describes styling both the male artist and female character in an "indie" and "laid back" style, with everyday clothes like boots, t-shirts, cardigans and jeans. It aims to portray the characters as friendly and easygoing, focusing on the music rather than flashy fashion.

Costumes and makeup play an important role in how artists represent themselves in music videos. Lady Gaga, for example, uses elaborate costumes and makeup to establish herself as a fashion icon, which has helped increase her profits by building her brand and personal connection with consumers. For a music video narrative contrasting a natural field setting with a made-up mirror scene expressing pressure and conformity, the filmmakers chose a heavy glam makeup look for the latter and a put-together outfit indicating a desire for perfection.
The document discusses how branding and consistency across products is important for establishing an artist's image and brand within the R&B music genre. It analyzes Chris Brown's brand image of being young, energetic, and appealing to female audiences. To brand their own artist, the document's creator followed Chris Brown's style cues and conventions of the R&B genre in their music video, album cover, and magazine advert through elements like clothing, jewelry, and background colors and themes. They aimed to clearly link their artist to Chris Brown's brand and the R&B genre overall through a consistent presentation across ancillary materials.

5. Concept
This is a tale of the struggles, hustles, and
the triumphs one must endure/conquer to
become a “High Roller”.
6. As the music
starts, the scene
sets on a young
man getting an
eviction notice.
He is a starving
artist. This
motivates him to
set out on the
streets to begin
selling his art.
After a long day
of not selling
anything he
heads back home
feeling defeated.
7. The artist then
decides to start
fresh and throw
all of his old art
away in a
dumpster
outside. He
crouches down
by the dumpster
and pulls out the
eviction notice.
Feeling
reinspired, he
grabs his art
from the trash
and heads home,
ready for another
day.
8. Selling his art on
the street
progressively
becomes a
successful
endeavor and he
catches the eye of
an art dealer who
hands him his
card. The artist
finds himself
selling his art at
an art auction
where he appears
nervous, standing
awkwardly and
fidgeting with his
hands. He fears he
will not stand out
amongst other
artists.
9. At the auction
other artists seem
to be making good
money but when
our artist steps on
stage hands full of
money fly in the
air, and one
specific hand is
holding a fat wad
of cash. This
auction propels
him to financial
stability and the
video closes on our
artist pulling a for
sale sign out of the
yard of his new
house.
13. Simba- Artist
Simba is the epitome of a a
grinder and go getter. He
released his EP on November

business so he has had
experience working on a set
with a music video as well. He
already has a general idea of
how things go both on and off
the camera which will make
him easier to work with in the
long run.
Simba’s fans know the struggles
of what he had to do to get to
where he is today. He has still not
reached the peak of the success
that he wants to be ultimately but
he has still came a long way and
this video will highlight that. This
music video shows the
perseverance and will power you
need to reach your goals the
same way as Simba did. This is a
biography of Simba to his fans in
a nutshell.

which will be helpful during
production in case any
unexpected problems arise.
19. Sara Sano Di Fabio- Director
Sara loves to be creative by
creating her own art as well as
helping to create someone else's
art.
She has created a couple of short

actor who can take directions
very well and has a good
commanding performance.
Bernard is apart of Youtube
channel called “Squad Next
Door” and they have created 8
videos with an average of 1,200

could have him post this video on
his Youtube page to help attract
more viewers.

such as his photos from Dames
Point Bridge and Tybee Island
Beach. His role of the auctioneer
will have him displaying art and
selling it, but him having this
experience of creating and
understanding art allows him to be
in his comfort zone and make this
role come to life.
22. Caroline Green as “The Art Dealer”
Caroline is a free-spirited maverick
full of wanderlust but still all
business.
She has worked for Disney for about
2 years now, giving her a lot of
experience in professionalism in a
not-so-professional setting. This is
perfect for her role, since she has to
portray a professional business
woman. She has also played a smaller
role in the movie “Wildflowers” which
premiered June 18th, 2019 at the
Mary C. O’Keefe cultural arts center
in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. This
makes her less likely to be nervous in
