The document outlines the props and costumes needed for a music video. Props include a guitar, microphone, sticky labels, calendar, music sheets, notepad, brochure, and folders/clipboards. A car will be used as a transition between locations. The main character Sarah needs 5 costumes to show the passing of time from her first to last audition. The judges need professional but casual outfits and lanyards to look like music college staff.

The microphone, guitar and sticky labels will
be needed for both audition scenes (at the
start and the beginning). Also the guitar
needs to be used throughout most of the
video as it’s a token prop to Sarah’s
character.
The calendar is a key prop to my
music video as it shows the time
passing. I am unsure whether I will
have a normal calendar or just a
countdown as I want her to rip down
each day as the transition between
different locations/times.

3. Props
I need lots of music sheets as Sarah
needs to scribble all over them. Also she
will have her own notepad which will act
as her diary that she puts all her song
ideas in.
For the scene whilst Sarah is at school I will need these 3
props. The brochure for the music college she wants to go
to will look quite crumpled and distressed to show how
much she has probably looked at it.

The car used in the music video will be this
car below. This is again being used as a
transition from 2 locations.
For the last audition scene, I
will want the actors to use
folders/clipboards for the
props. This gives the sense of
authority as they will be
containing documents to do
with the college in them.

5. Costume - Sarah
Sarah will need to have 5 different costumes to make sense of the showing of time passing. I believe from my
research and creating of Sarah's style that she is a girl of an individual however quite simple fashion sense.

6. Costume – Judges/Extras
I need all the judges to be dressed up enough to look like professional however its a music college so it may be
slightly more laid back than a normal college. I will also want all of them to be wearing lanyards as most teaching
staff wear them nowadays.
