Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

2. Narrative
• In LAC’s production, the narrative is set as a couple that go
to Brighton Pier on a date but it is soon learned that they
are handcuffed together. They spend the day together with
the barrier of being locked together distracting them
throughout the day. However, as they spend more of the
day together they begin to trust each other and eventually
find the key to unlock the cuffs and are able to enjoy
themselves together. The cuffs are a metaphor for trust in a
relationship and once they can trust each other they are
free to enjoy their relationship to it’s potential. There are
also scenes where there is the producer in the studio on
the mixing desk to separate up the video to have a
performance narrative too.
3. Equipment/roles required
• Camera to record footage
• Tripod to keep shots stable
• Director – William Sharp
• Actor (female) – Jennifer Smith
• Actor 2 (male) – Chris Mills
• Editing – Harry Saunders and Aaron Flemons
4. Location
• Luminous Animal Club wants to film in Brighton
Pier as our main location. This means that they
must get permission from the council to film on
these public locations. This is something they
have done before and know how to do. The pier
has a few areas that they would like to film on,
for example, the arcade.
• The performance location will be shot in
Queensbury studios which they have access and
permission to film in with ease.
5. Target audience
• The target audience is likely to be aimed at 16-
30 year old men. This is because the young
theme of the music and the male dominated
genre will reflect the audience heavily. They
are also likely to be an ‘explorer’ in the
psychographic group due to the energy and
fun in the genre of music. Also are likely to be
socio-economic of D level because are young
and are likely to be working part-time and not
skilled jobs.
6. Budget
• Camera - £600
• Tripod - £10
• Train tickets - £30 x5 = £150
• Props inc. drinks and food - £30
• Costumes - £60
• Total - £850
