Context: In Nova Lima scavengers have a hard time to collect the garbage with inappropriate tools and very little help from citizens.
Project: Use design to develop tools to improve urban garbage collection and work with the community in order to make them conscious about their role in the process, so that they get and functionaries more participant.
Design role: Design can help by showing how with some new tools and everybody’s commitment the waste collection can become more efficient and we all win.

  • 2. Context: In Nova Lima scavengers have a hard time to collect the garbage with inappropriate tools and very little help from citizens.
  • 3. Project: Use design to develop tools to improve urban garbage collection and work with the community in order to make them conscious about their role in the process, so that they get and functionaries more participant.
  • 4. Design role: Design can help by showing how with some new tools and everybody’s commitment the waste collection can become more efficient and we all win.
