1) The Frontline Extension System conducted technology assessments, demonstrations, and capacity building initiatives through 695 Krishi Vigyan Kendras across India in 2016-17.
2) Activities included 26,029 trials across 26 themes, 182,696 frontline demonstrations on 66,203 hectares of land, and 49,768 training programs attended by 14.21 lakh participants.
3) Initiatives focused on improving access to information, credit, and markets to boost farmers' incomes as targeted by the Indian government's 2016-17 budget.
