This document outlines a design project for developing a modular wheel for an electric bicycle. It will have a sophisticated power source and embedded control system. The project involves designing a retrofit wheel that integrates a hub motor, battery pack with battery management system, and motor controller onto a single PCB. The motivation is to design a compact system for electrifying bicycles. A literature review is presented covering past e-bike designs and components. The work plan involves designing the motor, controller, battery pack, and integrating them onto a single PCB within the wheel. Design calculations for the required motor power are also shown.

4. Introduction
• In transportation we have developed quite a lot by the range of
hi-tech vehicles we have; still the importance of bicycle cannot
be neglected.
• Bicycle is popular in all groups because it is easy to handle by
its light weight, and do not cost money to operate as it does not
require fuel to run, still very efficient in small distant traveling.
• Similar to this, e-bike on the other hand is a modified version
of the same. An electronic bicycle (e-bike) is a bicycle that has
an electric drivetrain, involving a motor, a power source, a
motor controller, and a method of speed control.

5. • In this project, we have designed a retrofit
