The BITES Programme enabled the
company to take a step back and re-
assess our operational costs in
these areas. As a result, we
implemented resource saving
measures”.

and anticipated savings of over
£1,200 in the coming year.

collections through improved
awareness and recycling.

• 1159MWh of electricity and gas saved (carbon savings 620
tonnes).
• 148 tonnes of materials recycled (carbon savings 66 tonnes
based on savings from waste diverted from landfill).
• 30 tonnes of avoided materials (eliminated) (carbon savings
13 tonnes based on savings from waste diverted from landfill).
• 1 tonne of paper reduced.
• 437m3 (437 tonnes) of water reduced.
• 280 tonnes of landfill waste diverted (carbon savings 125
tonnes).
