  done”	
  through	
  relationship	
  building	
  and	
  hard	
  work.	
  
	
  
Hsu	
  was	
  the	
  driving	
  force	
  behind	
  the	
  passing	
  of	
  a	
  student	
  referendum	
  that	
  
funded	
  development	
  of	
  a	
  new	
  student	
  union.	
  Because	
  of	
  this	
  achievement,	
  
and	
   numerous	
   others,	
   he	
   was	
   honored	
   with	
   the	
   “Excellence	
   in	
   Student	
  
Leadership”	
   award,	
   as	
   well	
   as	
   the	
   “Building	
   Bridges”	
   award	
   by	
   the	
  
University	
  president.	
  
	
  
In	
  collaboration	
  with	
  faculty	
  and	
  staff,	
  Hsu	
  oversaw	
  day-­‐to-­‐day	
  operations	
  
of	
  the	
  auxiliary,	
  developed	
  operational	
  strategies,	
  and	
  functioned	
  at	
  a	
  level	
  
far	
   more	
   advanced	
   than	
   customary	
   for	
   student	
   leaders.	
   He	
   was	
   highly	
  
regarded	
   by	
   senior	
   staff	
   for	
   integrity	
   and	
   an	
   obvious	
   commitment	
   to	
  
excellence.	
  
	
  
Hsu	
   is	
   an	
   active	
   member	
   of	
   numerous	
   committees	
   and	
   associations,	
  
including	
  Leaders	
  in	
  Academia,	
  Commission	
  for	
  Arts	
  and	
  Culture,	
  and	
  the	
  
American	
   Cancer	
   Society.	
   He	
   graduated	
   from	
   SJSU	
   with	
   a	
   Bachelor	
   of	
  
Science	
  in	
  Marketing	
  as	
  well	
  as	
  a	
  Master	
  of	
  Business	
  Administration.	
  
	
  
While	
   attending	
   college,	
   Hsu	
   held	
   several	
   supervisory	
   positions	
   at	
  
Starbucks	
   and	
   Office	
   Depot	
   from	
   2010-­‐2013.	
   In	
   both	
   companies	
   he	
  
received	
   acknowledgement	
   for	
   developing	
   a	
   collaborative	
   approach	
   to	
  
achieving	
  daily	
  goals	
  and	
  objectives.	
  	
  
	
  
Although	
   Hsu	
   has	
   received	
   numerous	
   accolades	
   for	
   his	
   work	
   ethic	
   and	
  
achievements	
  over	
  the	
  years,	
  he	
  says	
  his	
  greatest	
  reward	
  is	
  the	
  long-­‐term	
  
professional	
  relationships	
  developed	
  and	
  maintained	
  with	
  individuals	
  of	
  all

HSU PHONE: 555.555.5555 EMAIL: name@email.com LINKEDIN: www.linkedin.com/name     “Nothing  is  impossible.”   ★★★★★     Christopher  T.  Hsu  has  served  in  a  leadership  capacity  since  college.  Lauded   as   a   tenacious   and   unflinching   advocate   for   diversity   initiatives,   he   led   sweeping  changes  throughout  his  term  as  Vice-­‐President  and  President  of   the   Associated   Students   at   San   Jose   State   University.   It   was   during   this   two-­‐year  period  that  he  developed  an  unwavering  drive  and  commitment   to  “getting  it  done”  through  relationship  building  and  hard  work.     Hsu  was  the  driving  force  behind  the  passing  of  a  student  referendum  that   funded  development  of  a  new  student  union.  Because  of  this  achievement,   and   numerous   others,   he   was   honored   with   the   “Excellence   in   Student   Leadership”   award,   as   well   as   the   “Building   Bridges”   award   by   the   University  president.     In  collaboration  with  faculty  and  staff,  Hsu  oversaw  day-­‐to-­‐day  operations   of  the  auxiliary,  developed  operational  strategies,  and  functioned  at  a  level   far   more   advanced   than   customary   for   student   leaders.   He   was   highly   regarded   by   senior   staff   for   integrity   and   an   obvious   commitment   to   excellence.     Hsu   is   an   active   member   of   numerous   committees   and   associations,   including  Leaders  in  Academia,  Commission  for  Arts  and  Culture,  and  the   American   Cancer   Society.   He   graduated   from   SJSU   with   a   Bachelor   of   Science  in  Marketing  as  well  as  a  Master  of  Business  Administration.     While   attending   college,   Hsu   held   several   supervisory   positions   at   Starbucks   and   Office   Depot   from   2010-­‐2013.   In   both   companies   he   received   acknowledgement   for   developing   a   collaborative   approach   to   achieving  daily  goals  and  objectives.       Although   Hsu   has   received   numerous   accolades   for   his   work   ethic   and   achievements  over  the  years,  he  says  his  greatest  reward  is  the  long-­‐term   professional  relationships  developed  and  maintained  with  individuals  of  all   backgrounds.
