COATINGS
Berucoat: Berucoat is a product line marketed by Bechem formed by a series of anti-
friction coating products. There are three specific ranges: Berucoat AF, Berucoat FX
and Berucoat AK.
They all offer many advantages and individual application possibilities that can be
used in general industrial sectors, especially mass and bulk coating of metal parts.
They are a very high quality and high performance coatings.
Dow Corning®: Dow Corning® is an American multinational (owned by DuPont)
specialised in silicone and its derivatives.
This brand has elastomeric coatings derived from silicone with a very low coefficient
of friction and low surface free energy. This results in an excellent antiadherence and
a significant thermal resistance.
Dykor®: Dykor® is Whitford's patented trademark including high build film coatings,
some of them up to 625 microns.
It is specially formulated for metal protection in extreme environments, and it shows
high resistance to most of chemicals or solvents. Moreover, it has an excellent
resistance to abrasion and a good mechanical strength.
Among its properties, one can find stability, its use as a sacrificial layer, and high
dielectric strength. It also stands out for its excellent resistance to weathering, as well
as UV rays and nuclear radiation.
Finally, it should be noted that it can be used as a single film coating or as a final
finish available in a wide range of colours. It can also be applied in multiple sectors
as a high-performance coating with chemical resistance.
