This document provides information on non-stick coatings from four different companies: Greblon from Weilburger, Klübertop from Klüber Company, Molykote from Dow Corning, and Orgasol from Arkema. Greblon is a high-quality tetrafluoropolymer coating containing ceramics particles for household and technical applications. Klübertop is a varnish that protects metals, plastics and elastomers from corrosion and is used in the automotive sector. Molykote is a paint-like anti-friction coating made of solid lubricant particles that forms a lubricating film. Orgasol is a polyamide powder coating that provides higher abrasion and scratch resistance

PRODUCTS NOVEMBER 2017 – NON-STICK
COATINGS
Greblon®: Weilburger markets this excellent range of non-stick coatings specially
indicated for outside applications. Such a high-quality tetrafluoropolymer contains
ceramics particles and is applied to household and technical products.
It is presented in a wide aesthetical range of colours of colours and hues never seen
before in the market.
Klübertop®: Klüber Company commercialises Klübertop non-stick varnish, which
also protects metals, plastics and elastomers from corrosion.
It is mainly applied in automotive sector or door locks and it provides a longer useful
life.
Products belonging to this range are:
- Klübertop TP 46-111
- Klübertop TN 01-311 A/B
- Klübertop TM 06-111
- Klübertop TG 05 N
- Klübertop TP 36-1300 A/B
Molykote®: Marketed by Dow Corning, Molykote® is a range of paint-like anti-
friction coatings with resin and solvent content made up from solid lubricant particles.
This type of anti-friction coating forms a lubricating film smoothing rough surfaces
and protecting from friction.
It can be applied by means of spraying, centrifuging or brush-painting.
Orgasol®: Orgasol® by Arkema is a polyamide 12 (PA12) and polyamide 6 (PA6)
powder product created by direct polymerization. Spherical powder particles are thus
obtained presenting homogeneous particle size distribution between 5 and 60
microns.
This coating is quite microporous, presents fusion temperatures ranging from 140ºC
and 220ºC, and has a low density allowing a stable dispersion application.
Thanks to Orgasol®, abrasion and scratching resistance is higher, besides being
brighter and smoother.
