Before we see our character in the
opening we will use still shots with
filters for example a shot of the
taps dripping.

Scene 1. A person is laying in a bath
full of his own blood; he is covered
with cuts and bruises. He is very
still.
Scene 2. The man wakes up
startled. He climbs out of the bath
and walks around. He is very
disorientated.

Scene 3. The disorientated man
attempts to think of the previous
night’s events. He wonders through
the house knocking things off of
shelves as he tries to get a steady
grip.
Scene 4. The man mind starts
rummaging through the mess in
the bedroom trying to find clues as
to what happened the previous
night.
Scene 5. Out of anger the man
pushes all the items off of one of
the shelves.
Scene 6. Finally the man wonders
down the stairs and opens the front
door.

Date, Time and Location
Although we will not spend a great
deal of time filming the opening.
We will have to spend the time
getting the camera angles right and
getting good shots of the
characters. Therefore filming will
take quite a while overall.
The location for this scene will be
in someone’s bathroom in their
house. This will be the first thing
we try and film so it will probably
be very soon.
This scene could be filmed in the
same day as scene one. And again it
will be in someone’s house.

Extreme close up of the bloody
water, very little is revealed.
Medium bird’s eye view of the
room with the man laying straight
in the bath.
In this scene we will use point of
view shots where the camera is
very unsteady. We hope that this
we make it seem like the man is
disorientated and confused. We
will also use over shoulder shots of
the man struggling to walk.
Once again we will use a lot of point
of view shots of him struggling to
stay on his feet. We will also have
over shoulder shots. The camera
will be unsteady to show how he is
confused and disorientated.
In this scene we will use a medium
shot of the room and the man
looking through the mess. We may
also use another point of view shot.

You can hear the sound of the tap
dripping and nothing else.

We need clothes for the man to be
wearing in the bath.

In this scene you can her that man
breathing heavily and the sound of
his slow moving footsteps. Also you
can hear him banging on the walls
as he tries to walk properly.

The props used in this scene are
common house held items. For
example bottles on the side.

Once again you can hear his heavy
breathing and his feet stomping on
the floor.

Common house held items once
again.

This scene could still be film in the
same day and location as the
previous two.

In this shot you can hear the sound
of the man rummage through
things.

We need to make a mess on the
floor or on a shelf. The mess should
consist of house held and personal
belongings.

The rest of the scenes would be
filmed on a separate day.

We will use a medium close up of
the man pushing the items off the
shelf.
When he goes to open the front
door we will use a POV shot
showing his hand reaching for the
handle. Then when the door is
open we will use a long shot of the
man standing in the door. We could
use a silhouette instead of his
whole body.

In this scene you can hear the
sound of many items hitting the
floor.
For this scene will could play some
music in the background as there
would not be much sound coming
from the person.

One again we need house hold
items and a shelf.
The scene does not require any
props or equipment.
