This document provides a production plan for a short film. It includes an equipment guide listing the camera, tripod, SD cards, lights, computer, headphones, and software that will be used. Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop will be used for editing. Three actors who are around 18 will be cast from the filmmaker's friends. The film has no budget as the equipment and locations are provided by the school. Copyright free music from bensound.com will be used. The footage will be copyrighted and permission slips obtained for minor actors. The film is aimed at a 15 rating and will be released for free on Short of the Week.

3. CAST AND CREW
In my film I will need 3 actors, the main actor will need to be around 18 as he will be playing the role of a
sixth form student and my main character Tom. I will use one of my friends for the role of this character as I
have used this person for a film in the past and the proved that they had good acting skills which will help
my film to be the best it can be.
The other two actors will also need to be the same age and I will use friends for this as well that I know are
good actors so my film can be to a high quality.
The actors I choose will need to be confident in front of the camera and should have the ability to suit the
role of the character they are playing to ensure my film is of a high quality. All the actors in my film will be
doing it free of charge so it will not affect my budget.

4. BUDGET
For my film I will not need to purchase anything and my required budget will
be nothing, the camera and the mic that I will be using will be provided by
school so I will have no charge for them and there will also be no charge for
all the locations that I will be filming at. Finally I will use copyright free music
for the scenes where I will require music so there will also be no charge for
that. The music will be from https://www.bensound.com which is a royalty free
music website.

5. LEGAL CONSIDERATIONS
The footage that will be filmed will be legally owned by me as I will be the one
filming it. So that I can protect the footage that I will film ensure that I will
copyright it which will mean that no one else will be able to use the footage
without my permission or without paying me a certain sum of money. I will also
be creating my own studio logo for my film company and I will also be
copyrighting this for the same reasons.
If any of my actors are under 18 I will ensure that I get a permission slip from
either one of their parents or legal guardians.
I will not breach any copyright issues for the music in my film because it will be
from https://www.bensound.com which is a royalty free music website which
means it is legal for me to use their music without breaking any infringement

6. ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
I think the suitable age rating for my film would be 15. I think this because
there will be scenes of violence and someone does get stabbed which isn’t
suitable for a younger audience to watch, there may also be swear words in my
film which would suit the age rating. I think this age will suit the target audience
of late teenagers and the genre of my film because thriller is more meant for
more mature audiences. This however would not be decided by me and a full
classification would be made by the BBFC.
I will ensure that none of the clips in my short film are discriminatory to any
social groups or anyone in particular as I do not aim to offend anyone.
The film is going to be released on short of the week which means it will be free
to watch as anything under 40 minutes long on their website is free to watch
which means I will not earn money from it
