2. Director
Generally, a film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualizes
the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfilment of that vision.
The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design, and the
creative aspects of filmmaking.
The film director gives direction to the cast and crew and creates an overall vision
through which a film eventually becomes realized. Directors need to be able to
mediate differences in creative visions and stay in the boundaries of the film's
budget. There are many pathways to becoming a film director. To ensure we are
dividing the work up evenly when directing our cast, we will have a plan so that
everyone knows what they are doing and are prepared for filming.

3. Cast
The cast will be one of the main factors when it comes to production management
as we need to choose the right actors to fit the roles of our characters we create to
make it look as professional and believable as possible.
We will be looking in to our character’s characteristics and looking for the best
possible match. Furthermore, we will be using people from sixth form as it is the
easiest way to film for when we take our shots in school as we cant bring people
from outside of school to film. My group will be looking in to who has past acting
skills and people who currently take drama as strong contenders to ask as they have
the best knowledge of what goes in to acting.

4. Scriptwriter
The scriptwriting process tends to involve the following course of action: idea
generation and research, planning, character development, and then writing.
Scriptwriters write every aspect of a script, from the dialogue to the stage directions.
We will look to produce the script as a group and put all our ideas in to something
that suits all of us. Creating characters, crafting dialogue and writing an engaging plot
are all part of a scriptwriter’s job. Essentially, these creative dynamos form something
which acts as the base plan on which a director can map their creative vision.

5. Cinematographer
A cinematographer or director of photography (sometimes shortened to DP or
DOP) is the chief over the camera crews working on a film, television production
or other live action piece and is responsible for achieving artistic and technical
decisions related to the image. Overall they are responsible for how the film will
appear for the viewer and so have to ensure they produce good work to make
the trailer more realistic. They must consider the camera shots/angles, lighting,
sound and mise-en-scene in terms of props and other additional factors that add
to every scene. The cinematographer has the job of making sure the final picture
on the screen for the viewer is aesthetically pleasing which is massively important
in terms of creating emotion through our trailer. So who ever has this job in our
group while filming will have to make sure they are taking in to consideration all
these points to help them make it look professional.

6. Make up and Costume

To ensure our trailer is as realistic as possible we need to make sure all our actors
have suitable outfits that teenagers wear and can relate to. Our first scene, with the
actors, include a group of friends coming back from a party, we’re going to have to
make sure the girls are wearing make up and clothes; girls are commonly shown to
wear heels at parties, crop tops and skirts/ tight jeans. For boys, they are going to
have to look smart as most teenage boys try to look presentable for a party.

7. Editing
For the editing process my group will be using final cut which is a software that
allows us to edit our trailer. As editors we will be editing the film with cuts, addition
of sound, titles and music. These factors will have a massive effect in insuring our
trailer reaches a professional standard and appeal to our target audience. As my
group have no past experience of using final cut, we will have to have to have some
sessions with someone who does to learn the basics and then pick up other skills
and techniques on it along the way.
