The Methodology of the Process Explanation essay.
The process of writing requires proper understanding of the concepts. It is not just an area where any person can decide to focus on without understanding the skill. The instructor has a role of keeping the audience attentive. The first process in writing is the rewriting process. This is a process where the first ideas are written down. It is the preliminary stage of writing. The next step is on providing an outline for the preliminary writing. The third process is on writing a rough draft which will help the audience in understanding the importance of these steps in the writing process. The fourth is doing a revision of the draft, which focuses on looking for any mistakes and correcting them. The last step is editing of the work, which is finalizing on the whole paper, removing any grammatical errors and any mistakes (Lard bucket, 2012).

Definition also increases the meaning of some terms and is used to ensure that the right message is passed to the audience. Definition also helps contextualize some terms and make it more meaningful. A very good article where the definition played a crucial role is an article in the New York Times dated January, 28, 2014 by Thomas B. Edsall entitled Capitalism vs. Democracy.
In this article, the author tries to define Capitalism and Democracy from economic perspective. The author borrowed the definition from French newspaper and claoms that the capital system in the 21

Definitions plays a crucial role in reaching the audience.
Definition clarifies some terminologies and enhance the passage
of the message to the audience. Definition also increases the
meaning of some terms and is used to ensure that the right
message is passed to the audience. Definition also helps
contextualize some terms and make it more meaningful. A very
good article where the definition played a crucial role is an
article in the New York Times dated January, 28, 2014 by
Thomas B. Edsall entitled Capitalism vs. Democracy.
In this article, the author tries to define Capitalism and
Democracy from economic perspective. The author borrowed
the definition from French newspaper and claoms that the
capital system in the 21
st
century is “a political and theoretical bulldozer.” By using the
term political bulldozer, the audience will begin to think deeply
about it. They will start to imagine how capital can be a
bulldozer and in the process, they will get deeper perspective
about what capital means.
The author adds that capitalism’s inherent dynamic propels
powerful forces that threaten democratic societies. This helps
contextualize the content. It is clear that capitalism can take
different meaning at different context. However, the article is
trying to define and describe how capitalism related to
3. democracy. Citing the work of Piketty , the article reveals that
capitalism confronts both modern and modernizing countries
with a dilemma because entrepreneurs become increasingly
dominant over those who own only their own labor.
The article adds that the free market, liberated from the
distorting effects of government intervention, does not
“distributes,” as Milton Friedman famously put it, “the fruits of
economic progress among all people. Here, the audience will
take new meaning of capitalism. Those who knew capitalism
from Milton Friedman’s perspective will start to give a second
thought. This clearly suggest that defining the meaning helps in
reaching the audience in a better way.
4. The use of specific rhetorical terms is an important technique
that authors use to make their work appealing to the audience.

purposes in writing. One, rhetorical terms can be used in the
form of repetition. One or more rhetorical terms are used in a
piece of writing to emphasize on a theme that the author wants
to be noted by the reader. Rhetorical terms are also used to
bring out counterpoints. This happens when two very
contrasting terms are used especially in the same sentence to
point out the difference between two situations. Besides this,
authors employ rhetorical terms to influence readers to adopt
their point of view. This involves good choice of strong terms
that speak out the author’s perspective and in turn influences
the way the reader’s perception. Through this, the authors are
able to achieve the purpose of writing by influencing the
thinking of others and consequently communicating to the
public about issues they deem important.
