Probien is a web and mobile platform that aims to connect skilled volunteers with social organizations in Latin America that need short-term projects completed by experts. It focuses on skills-based volunteering where volunteers contribute specialized talents, business skills, or education to benefit nonprofit partners. Probien will provide an ad-hoc matching service for corporations to involve employees in social issues while developing soft skills, and will connect individual volunteers and NGOs for free. The platform will help assess volunteer skills, plan volunteer programs, and evaluate impacts for partners.
