This document outlines a project to design, manage, and maintain a college website and alumni network using a network infrastructure. The project will involve creating websites for the college and alumni using ASP.NET and C# on an IIS web server. A SQL Server database will store website information. A Windows Server 2008 R2 network will be configured with DHCP, DNS, FTP, and other servers to provide network services and access to resources. The project aims to provide easy online access and maintenance of student and faculty information through a user-friendly interface.
Introduction to IIS, the integrated pipeline and application pool. Introduction to IIS features, such as compression, caching, URL rewriting, and application initialization. Troubleshooting IIS with logging and failed request tracing.
This presentation is for anyone who is willing to know about IIS and its Settings. IIS is an extensible web server created by Microsoft for hosting application. We will review about various aspects of IIS.
• 4.5 years of IT experience on Application/Production Support with Linux/Unix Windows Admin, Unix Shell Scripting, WebSphere, Tomcat Admin, Apache webserver, IIS, Business Analyst, Service Management.
Database server and client are two important software that you need to work with databases. In order to use SQL to interact with a database server you must use a good database client software.
This presentation explains the concept of a database server and a client.

Windows Server Infrastructure Upgrade and Redesign at ELearning
Overview
ELearning is an educational software developer that provides software and cloud computing solutions to private and public educational institutions throughout North America and Europe. The organization currently has three major offices located in Vienna, Virginia; San Jose, California; and Dublin, Ireland. A sales team of more than a hundred work across the United States and Europe, primarily from their own homes. ELearning has experienced a combination of growth and disaster in the last 3 years and plans to add an additional 130+ employees, including opening a new office in Austin, Texas in the next 6 months. To meet these growth challenges, ELearning is in the process of upgrading the network environment from the current ad hoc design, comprised of Windows 2003, 2008 and *NIX systems, to Windows 2012 R2 Active Directory. Steps have already been taken to improve the network infrastructure. The Vienna, Virginia location has replaced all 2008 Domain Controllers with Windows 2012 Servers. However, the San Jose and Dublin locations are still running a single Windows 2008 Domain Controller at each site. Currently all server and workstation IP addresses are statically assigned. DNS is hosted on an older generation UNIX server that has been hacked several times due to faulty security. Remote users currently connect via VPN, which has caused numerous security incidents due to missing antivirus software, outdated AV signatures and missing OS patches on workstations and laptops.
Although the Austin location has not officially opened, there are six users currently deployed to that location. There are currently no domain controllers or qualified personal to support them at this location. This site needs to be incorporated into the ELearning Active Directory as soon as possible. Austin users must be able to authenticate and access ELearning Active Directory services. ELearning has recently acquired another company EduTech, Inc. The existing EduTech Active Directory Domain needs to be integrated into the existing ELearning Active Directory forest. The ELearning data center is located at the Vienna and Dublin locations. This is where ELearning hosts and maintains its cloud computing services. Since there increased demand for its cloud services ELearning has experienced difficulty getting servers and services deployed in time due to the lack of an efficient and cost-effective deployment process. The current Active Directory is a single domain. It is up to you finish the network design and improve the server infrastructure.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

METHODOLOGY (including summary of project)
www.ecajmer.ac.in is our college global domain. We are making our
college website with all the necessary facilities. The website is based on ASP
.NET 4.0 framework with C#. The database of the website is taken in MS SQL
SERVER 2008 R2. The website is simple & secure.
Our project will be a 3-tier project. These tiers are as follows
Presentation tier.
Database tier.
Network infrastructure tier.
The project will consist of college website that will be hosted on our local IIS
web server in our network infrastructure (based on WINDOWS SERVER 2008
R2). Simultaneously we will host another website named “ECA ALUMNI” that
contains various features of an alumni like Student Information System, Library
Management System etc. The most exciting part of Alumni is our Online Notice
Board for each Department.
We will use ASP .NET 4.0 to make Presentation tier in C# language. We will
use a set of .NET languages to make this layer.
XML will be used for site mapping. It will provide fast links for various
parts of website.
HTML will be used for static designing of website. All the static designing
of pages will be done in it.
5. 5
JAVASCRIPT will be used for some dynamic effects. It uses a java
enabled web browser to execute.
CSS will also be used for designing. It will be used make our website
attractive and good looking.
C# .NET will be used for logic development for the project. It will be used
for asp pages.
We are using SQL SERVER 2008 R2 to store all the data about various
information of our website. We will use Authentication and some stored
procedures to ignore the security leakage in order to secure our database.
We will make a Server – Client environment using WINDOWS SERVER
2008 R2 configured with following servers & services.
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) -- will be used to allot
dynamic IP configuration to Clients in local domain.
ACTIVE DIRECTORY & DOMAIN SERVICES – will be used to make
organisation units with users having several departmental groups with
certain Group Policies.
DNS (Domain Name Service) – will be used to make local child domain to
access our website, ftp server and main server on our local network.
IIS (Internet Information Services) WEB SERVER – will be used to deploy
our college website and college alumni.
WDS (Windows Deployment Services) – will be used to deploy windows
to Client computers remotely.
TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol) – will be added to use the FTP
services.
6. 6

CONTRIBUTION MAKE BY PROJECT
This project will make a lot of contribution to solve problems associated
with traditional methods of managing college information and network
infrastructure.
In traditional system, students are provided their information in a very
traditional manner. Moreover, most of the work involved in the process has to be
done manually, which is very time consuming and cumbersome and also, it
reduces the efficiency, accuracy and speed of retrieval of data.
Now, if we use our designed College Alumni, students will be easily able to
get their desired information. Administrator, who will manage this project, will
easily able to configure it according to requirement. The IP configurations and
server address, which are previously configured manually, now can be
configured automatically to each and every Client connected to local network.
Thus it will make a lot of contribution to overcome the limitation of
managing information in traditional method.
