Mathematics E-Learning : Ace-Learning portal All students will subscribe to the Accelerated Creative E-Learning  System. The system has over 2000 detailed lesson units  (online video lessons and flash animations) and more than 100  interactive activities designed along the concept of TLLM. Number Properties Workshop  All 1E and 1NA students will attend a half-day workshop on Number Properties during the 2011 March holiday.  AlgeCamp 2-half day AlgeCamp for all Secondary 1 students on 25 and 27 January 2011.
Science Holistic learning  via local learning journeys to venues like NEWater Visitor Centre, Tuas Marine Transfer Station, Health Promotion Board & Yakult Real World (Authentic) Learning  through hands-on applications such as Advance Elective Module (AEM) Food Science Module for Sec 2 students,  Environment Module for the Sec 1 students Compulsory New South Wales Science Competition
Integrated Environment Module An Integration of Geography and Science Environmental Topics Learning Outcomes include: Holistic understanding of environmental issues More innovative pedagogical approach with combined periods Provides authentic learning through Local Learning Journeys  Project-Based Assessment to develop analytical thinking,  interpersonal skills & team-work

Mother Tongue  Higher MT For students with at least A in MT for PSLE & admission test Application via respective MT teachers MT ‘B’ An avenue for students facing exceptional difficulties in MT Cannot  be used in aggregate computation for poly/JC
Craft & Tech D&T and Home Economics  –  Textbook is used for 2 years Art  -  Text book is not required for Art. Appropriate lesson materials will be provided.  Mode of Assessment  For D&T/Home Economics Semestral Assessment includes Coursework and Written Examination For Art Continuous Assessment: Portfolio  Semestral Assessment: Drawing Exam and Written Paper
Compulsory Programmes Community Service Every student will have to do  6 hrs  of community service  per year Involves helping charitable organisations in their Flag Day, visitation of old folks homes, collection of old newspapers, cleaning parks, etc.
Compulsory Programmes Health and Fitness Programme For students who are overweight, underweight and those who are not fit Held twice a week
Critical Dates Do refer to the  Student Handbook  for dates of Common Tests and school events such as E-Learning Day Examination dates will also made available via letters and on the website
Compulsory Programmes Swimming Programme  5 sessions  – 2 hours each, on Tue or Thurs Swimming is an important life skill Only students who have a Singapore Sports Council Cert (Gold, Silver or Bronze) will be exempted. 1 Coach to 10 students
Our CCA Policy Every student must take one CCA To ensure that our students are developed both intellectually and physically To learn to work as a team and are given responsibilities
Participation For pupils with an attendance rate of  50% to 74%,  the CCA points scored for the year will not be computed.
