Re: Reference Letterfor Sai Pranajape
I am writing this letter in support of Sai Pranajape. Sai did her internship from the University of
Toronto teachers college within my school during the month of May.
During this time, she demonstrated many of the qualities of an excellent teacher. She participated
in many school-wide initiatives and supported classroom teachers within their curriculum
programs. She also ran our Gum Chewing Tax event and started up a lunch time Art Club in
which many students participated over lunch hours during her time at the school.
She is professional and interacted in a positive manner with school staff and visitors at all times.
She was an excellent role model for the students and it was clear that they formed strong
relationships with her.
While she was in the school, I was also able to observe her teaching a lesson. During the literacy
lesson she was utilizing many of today's prevalent instructional strategies and it was obvious that
she was gaining confidence while working with both the large and small groups within the class.
During the lesson, she also utilized technology which was not only engaging for the students but
demonstrated her desire to support student learning in a variety of ways.
I believe that Sai will make an excellent classroom teacher and would be eager to work with her
again. She will be an asset to any school of which she is a part.
Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me for further information.
Sincerely,
Mrs. H. Cairns
