Aj has chosen to work with the production company to promote his hip-hop music because they have worked with larger artists in the past, which could help grow his career. Pre-production involves further developing ideas and planning before actual production begins. Aj will be both the artist and sole member of the production team, taking on all roles and responsibilities for his own music video.

• What is pre-production? Pre-production is the phase of further developing
ideas and planning prior to the process of production. In a live action
movie sense it is the period before filming starts.
