Life Sciences Summer 
                                                Institute (LSSI)
•   Goal: to help increase awareness of the life science industry and related fields of 
    research to students and teachers in the San Diego Region.
•   The student 7 week internship includes: 
     – A
       A one‐week pre internship "Boot Camp" training

     – A paid internship at one of San Diego's life science industry or academic research labs
     – The development and presentation of a scientific poster

     – The Scripps Research Institute
     – Salk Institute
     – La Jolla Institute for Allergy & Immunology

• Minimum G.P.A. of 3.0
