Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

2. Format & Genre
The show is a single drama, or a one off. This is where the show is
not continuous and are often based on topical issues, in this case
cyber-bullying. It’s a subject that the producers think is more
appropriate for TV rather than the cinema.
The genre of this is a Docu-dama, which is reenactments of real life
events, or everyday things. It is also a thriller as it’s quite gripping
towards the audience and does things to keep people watching.
With nobody knowing who the person harassing Casey is, adds
more tension between the two characters and keeps the audience
guessing who it is, making it interesting for them.
3. Mise en Scene – The lighting in Casey’s room tends to be quite dark,
although you can tell it’s dark outside, the lights in her room are not bright at
all. This gives off the tone of the drama. When Casey gets attacked by the
hacker her emotions change dramatically. When chatting with her friends she’s
laughing and is quite upbeat listening to her music, but when she posts on her
ex-boyfriends Twitter account and then gets hacked herself, she gets worried
and freaks out, she even begins to cry.
Sound – When Casey enters her room she goes straight to her laptop and
beings to play some diegetic music out loud, singing along to it. This is
diegetic as the characters along with the audience can hear this.
Camera – The drama is filmed from the girls prospective so even though it’s
not filmed from a POV shot all the time, you still see everything from Casey’s
prospective. We also get a birds eye view shot of her room setting the scene
and showing just how claustrophobic her room is and there is pretty much
nowhere to go.
Micro Analysis
4. Close/open ending
To me the ending of Cyberbully was both open and closed as the
story came to a resolution but we did not find who was behind the
hacking and was torturing Casey. So the fact it still could be
anybody leaves the ending open for the audience to really think
who it could have been, even though we weren’t introduced to
many characters. But at the same time the ending is closed as
Casey finally gets away from the hacker and escapes their
clutches.
5. Story Arc
Casey comes
home and logs
into her laptop
She gets her
friend to help hack
into her ex’s
Twitter after he
posted a mean
tweet about her
A hacker then
begins to
harass her
and threaten
her
The hacker makes
Casey realise the
bad she’s done and
the people she’s
effected
Casey then
realises that
the hacker is
being a
cyberbully
themself
Casey then
decides to shut her
laptop down and
think about all the
bad she’s done
7. Format & Genre
The show is a series as the story continues throughout every
episode.
The show follows a group of friends living in England in the 1990’s.
It is a drama/comedy as it has some funny moments between the
characters and some sad moments about some serious, everyday
situations that people can relate to.
8. Micro Analysis
Camera – At the beginning of the scene we see three characters stood in a living room of a
house, getting excited as their friends have news. When they leave to go find out the news
the camera lingers in the room. I think this happens to show the emotion of the characters
how they were all happy and excited and now, since its silent, maybe they were wrong.
Leaving the characters and the audience wondering what will happen.
Also in the kitchen, after the friends have found out the news, things
take a turn for the worst as the whole group of friends get into an
argument with the two sisters of the group. When the argument
occurs, everybody gets a say, giving their opinion on what has
happened. The camera is handheld, making the audience feel as if
they are apart of the action. The camera also focus’ on the characters when they
speak, constantly switching between them.
Editing – When Kelly leaves after hearing the news about her sister and father, we see her
upstairs in her room packing her bags which is shot in slow-motion. I think this is done so
the audience get to see her facial and body expressions after she hears about the news,
and with the instrumental on in he background, it adds more emotion showing just how
distraught she is.
Sound – Instrumental music plays towards the end of the scene to add even more dramatic
effect on a very emotional scene. As the scene of Kelly packing her bags and leaving
continues, the instrumental music gets louder to make the audience aware of what is going
on.
10. Format & Genre
The show is a two part crime drama set in the format of a mini
series which follows the lives of notorious serial killers, Myra
Hindley and Ian Brady.
The narrative structure is linear/serial as it is a two parter and the
second episode continues from the first.
11. Micro Analysis
Mise en Scene – Clothing of the characters are quite old fashioned
and because of this you can tell it is set in the 60’s. Ian Brady likes
to wear suits which shows dominance. The lightening in the show is
dark and gloomy.
Sound – The music (instrumental) plays out of time. They have a
lot of diagetic music playing. Throughout they have a lot of
naturalistic sounds.
Camera – Close up of characters faces to show reaction/emotion. A
lot of high/low angles are used to show dominance, especially with
Tom Brady. When the characters are sat on the grass they use
shallow focus to make the characters stand out.
Editing – Shot reverse shot to show the characters faces when in
conversation. The moors were dimmed to add more effect.
