This document discusses magazines that have influenced the design of a new RnB music magazine. It will take conventions from Vibe magazine such as the front cover layout and color scheme. The contents page will be inspired by Vibe but span two pages like in Q magazine. A double page spread will feature one picture and tweets from an artist instead of an interview like in Q magazine.

This will be a sort of template for
my magazine as it has got
everything that most
magazines have, although I
plan on making my headline go
across the image, sticking to
regular conventions. It will also
help to influence my colour
scheme and the shot for my
picture.

3. Vibe & Q Contents Pages
• Vibe magazines contents
page inspired me to go to
have a background to my
contents page, but I wanted
to do it over two pages. This
was only really a convention
used by Q and I wanted to
convert that into an RnB
genre to combine the best of
both worlds.

4. Double Page Spread
• This double Page spread
has influenced me to do
one picture and have a Q
and A with the artist, but
I want to do it with
tweets instead of just a
question from an
interviewer, followed by
a paragraph written by
the artist himself.
