Here are pictures I have taken of the singer
to look similar to the inspiration double
spread page.
Here are a few boys trying to play the
guitar, I experimented by each one of
them trying all the instruments, to be able
to find the right pictures.
From this piece I been given the
feedback it is too dull because of
the colours.
Here are the changes from the
feedback:

first draft: The information was
taken from the ‘Band
information for

post.

content:
The inspiration for the band was a young American group of brothers called Hanson.
Princeton at the very beginning of the story was founded by two brothers Alex and Erik
who enjoyed playing together from a very young age when living in Brazil in the 90’s
Then after they moved to The Netherlands the band introduced new members Presley,
Rob and Jorg. The name of the band was changed from GROSH which made up from
their surnames Grosheide to Princeton which was made up from how some members
are from Delft. Delft’s nickname is Prinsenstad (Prince town), because of its association
with the royal house of Orange-Nassau since the late 16th century. So, Prince town
became Princeton.
After much practice and gigs the band not only became more known, but also
developed and grow as a band.
Princeton was then signed to a label and released an album and its success was seen
as the album and many hits was rising to the top ranks.
INTERVIEW
How did the members meet each other?
The Alex and Erik are brothers who then met Presley who started singing at a very
young age. He acted in musicals like ‘Oliver’. He also performed on national television
with a group of young singers.
Rob and Jorg have been making music since the age of 12. They’ve played in a couple
of bands before joining Prince
Who writes your songs?
Most of the songs are written by Presley and Erik. But also Alex writes a lot. We finish
the songs in the rehearsal room, all together, so everyone can write his own
arrangements.
How many hits have been in the top rank?
‘Not Invited’ and ‘Heroes’ made it to several rankings. Our album ‘Autumn Skies’ was
#58 in the national album top 100.
Which one is the top hit?
Our second single ‘Heroes’.
What are the members of the band unknown talents?
We could start a football team. And there’s a really good cook in the band.
His amazing exotic meals are a great reason to eat all together and catch up with each
other’s lives.
How long is the band together for?
We started Princeton in 2011. This year will be our fifths together as band and hopefully
many years ahead.
Where do you see yourselves in five years’ time?
Still keeping in touch with all our fans. Via social media, but the best contact and
interaction will always be during shows, experience it all together.
Hopefully playing some nice festivals in Europe. Touring Brazil is another goal. Besides
that, keep making new music and record another album is what we’re really going for.
-Who writes your songs?
Most of the songs are written by Presley and Erik. But also Alex writes a lot. We finish
the songs in the rehearsal room, all together, so everyone can write his own
arrangements. Individually each one of us have ideas of our own of lyrics and melodies
and when we all join together it all is over and over tried to gather all ideas.
-Is there a theme of the making of the songs?
Every song has its own theme. A frequently used theme is ‘relationships’. Not only
romantic ones, but also relationships between family members, or a person and a
place, for example. It’s something everyone can relate to, making it interesting to write
about.
