fly on the pill is one of the mains themes. As they are already a
big band they will not have to promote the bands image as much
as first album band. The person who designed the albums front
cover was controversial artist Damien Hirst who is famous for
his use of formaldehyde. The album title is printed on the side of
the pill. This could mean that this is album is a drug that you
need. Most alternative rock album have a artistic front cover and
this is no exception. A reason for the flies could be to promote
an anti drugs message. The saying goes “like a fly around shit”.

like the front cover. This further proves the point
that they do not need to promote the band
images as they are already an established band

on the album and one picture of the band together.

• The album booklet has individuals photos of the band
members. They are all sitting in a café. They all sit in the
same seat and some use ketchup as blood for comic effect.
