The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth recently awarded 10 research grants to middle and high school students for STEM projects. The students submitted over 185 proposals that were reviewed by a panel of judges. The selected proposals addressed global issues and showed potential for meaningful results. The grants will fund the students' lab space, equipment, and projects, with the goal of exploring solutions such as a more cost-effective algae production to reduce global warming.
