1. I have done some research on institution, conglomerates and corporations. A
conglomerate is a massive company that tends to own loads of smaller
companies. On the other hand an independent company is isolated.
A conglomerate is a very big company that owns many smaller companies.
Here is a diagram showing all the roles and levels. This is the conglomerate this
is the highest level and a conglomerate owns many smaller businesses.

2. • Bauer is a media group that is Europe based but its HQ is in Germany. Bauer owns
more than 600 magazines! It also owns 50 radio and TV stations all across the
world. Bauer media is a conglomerate that has been owned by the Bauer family
and has been for five generations. It started off as a very small company and has
grown rapidly so fast. They own all sorts of magazine genres as well so they have a
lot of choice for the readers, watchers or listeners.

3. • SpinMedia (formerly known as Buzz Media) is a digital publisher
in America which owns a number of pop culture websites, including Spin,
Buzznet, Idolator, Stereogum, and Vibe.Buzz Media was founded by a list
of people, they are; Anthony Batt, Marc Brown, Kevin Woolery, and Steve
Haldane. The Buzz media name was created by the company
as they started to acquire more pop-culture and music blogs. Spin
media gained Spin media in 2013 as they closed down the print version of
