This document provides details on the genre, plot, location, and test shots for a crime/horror media project. The genre is crime/horror. The plot involves a crime scene investigation at an abandoned countryside building, with forensic evidence and flashbacks. Test shots will be taken of the abandoned barn location with low-key lighting, props, and countryside shots to establish the setting.

2. Genre
- What is our chosen genre?
The genre chosen for our task is Crime/Horror
- Plot
The plot for our opening scene is going to be a crime
scene investigation, where there will be forensics
teams going through the evidence from the crime and
there will be focused points freezing on the various
parts and flashing back to what actually happened with
that piece of evidence linking into a montage of clips
from the crime scene with horror aspects link in, like
the TV series whitechapel,with various effects to help
improve the quality of the video.

3. Location
• The location for our crime scene is going to be an
abandoned building within the countryside.
• Within the building there is going to be low key
lighting making the area seem more gloomy and
as if a real crime could have taken place to make
it more realistic.
Its going to be set at dusk to also increase realism.
There will also be shots of some of the country side
to help establish the location.

4. Test Shots
• Here is the list of what places will have test
pictures taken.
-The building in which the crime is within. (
Abandoned barn / infrastructure )
-Images of the lighting to see if its effective and
will work for our genre
- Photos of the props we are going to use to
make sure they’re in appropriate places.
