CECIS conducted an international exchange of young people within the EntrepreneurYouth project, funded by the European Union through the Erasmus + program, Key Action 1, Youth Mobility Projects, from 24 April to 2 May 2017.
34 young people from 7 European countries participated in the exchange: Romania, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Spain and Estonia. CECIS activities have focused on encouraging young people to take initiative and engage in community development through entrepreneurial activities and creating business plans in a multicultural environment.

3. Objectives:
to help young people get to know each other through various exercises by
approaching concepts such as: motivation, setting goals, passion, self-awareness,
power in individuality, community impact, ability to influence, explore, creativity,
innovation, problem solving, perseverance
to give young people the opportunity to explore some of the fundamental
concepts of entrepreneurship – what is entrepreneurship, what qualities are
needed to be an entrepreneur, marketing, financial education, business plan,
exploring opportunities, researching and developing products
to give young people the opportunity to learn by undertaking business plans and
carrying out an experimental activity in which to present their plans
to give young people the opportunity to work in teams to achieve a common
goal and to improve their skills in this respect

TOPICS:
5. Introductory activities for project presentation, partner organizations, mutual
knowledge among young participants
6. Workshops on entrepreneurship issues:
what is an entrepreneur,
identifying the passions, interests and objectives of young participants,
the needs of the community,
conducting a needs analysis.
7. Financial Exercise – Young people have sold popcorn to the city, created promotional materials,
after this exercise a debriefing was done and it was decided what to do with the profit obtained
from the sale.

9. Creating business plans – the workshop was divided into several business sessions: the idea
itself, the market, the future, the finances – as results each team created a business plan
Exhibition of entrepreneurial ideas – the young participants organized and carried out an event in
which they presented their business ideas to the locals.
10. Intercultural activities – intercultural evenings, visits, intercultural dialogue with locals children and
youngsters.
