Over the past five years we have seen a significant consensus emerge from academics and the world of neuroscience in terms of what makes great teaching and learning. I am in the final stages of drawing together this research and will be publishing Great Lessons in 2017. The Powerpoint slides repeat my Diamond Lesson Plan which many of you will be familiar with but within a firmly evidence-based context. At a time of change in education we need to ensure that all can step forward. Great Lessons will address how we can assist all to achieve their full potential. Our greatest test as teachers is lift forward the dependent and directed learners and this is within our grasp with clear consistent, team strategies. You may book a Great Lessons CPD and/or its sister programme 'Great Learning' and the other CPD opportunities highlighted on the last slide by emailing bradley@collegnet.co.uk.

NEURO-EDUCATION
Neuro-education is an emerging scientific field that is rapidly budding in the world of
education. This developing field blends the specialties of neuroscience, psychology,
cognitive science, and education to improve teaching methods and learning.
The methodology of teaching and learning through neuro-education stimulates
emotional, conceptual, attention, language, creativity and mathematical development
which can be enhanced by neuro – education and researchers.
The emerging field of neuro-education explores how children learn and what practices
promote and sustain the learning process.
Neuro education looks upon these things as a pivotal role in teaching methodology and
learning methodology and gain a more sophisticated understanding of how young minds
develop and learn
Perhaps it was inevitable that these discoveries should be applied not only to students
and also to teacher, management and parents.
QUANTUM LEARNING
When we are growing up, most of us go to school. We learn. We also learn about
learning. And, we make up delusions, myths and beliefs about that too. QUANTUM
LEARNING is first and foremost about taking another look at these delusions, myths
and beliefs.
Quantum: The smallest indivisible part of anything.
Learning: The acquisition of knowledge or skills through study, experience, or being
taught.
Quantum Learning experiences, interprets, decides and acts in this world, it was
inevitable that these discoveries should be applied not only to students and also to
teacher, management and parents
Through Quantum Learning students build the foundation for success as they develop
the skills and traits needed for academic and personal excellence.
We challenge students to set personal and academic goals and then inspire the grit to
pursue them.

STUDENT
PROGRAMS
If you’re a student looking to achieve
academic and personal excellence, then look
no further than Sixth Element’s unique
educational experiences. Whether it's our
Leaning quotient, Quantum Learning or
Ingenious camps –our teachings instill the
self–esteem and life–changing character
traits that’ll empower you for success in
school, college, career, and beyond.
KNOW YOUR LEARNING
QUOTIENT
From the time we take our first steps, till the
time we cease to exist; two things are true and
omnipresent: learning and growth. Have you
noticed that everyone talks about intelligence
and emotional quotient, but seldom about
Learning Quotient (LQ)!
Before we ponder on this question let us first
see what Learning Quotient is. Simply put, it is
the ability to manage your learning environment
to meet your learning needs. .
QUANTUM LEARNING
Are there times when you feel you can't live unto your
parents expectations? You are tangled in array of
emotions? No matter how much time goes into studying
for a test the grade doesn't reflect the effort. Or maybe
you just don't see the motivation in yourself.
Perhaps you sense there is a lack of focus, or is it a lack
of confidence? You have done everything within your
range to manage your challenges and are still unable to
find solution to all these challenges. Quantumlearning is
just what you are looking for. .
INGENIOUS CAMPS
Do you keep telling your friends and family that your child is a genius?
That he or she is way ahead of the other children his or her age? Our
camps are the prefect way to feed their curiosity and continue to grow
their mind. is the ideal academic, life, college prep and career skills.
We help students increase grades, confidence and motivation. Students
experience a shift in learning through academic enrichment classes,
exciting outdoor challenges, personal growth and character building
exercises.
We empower students to raise grades, self-confidence and motivation,
sharpen study skills, improve test results, communicate more
effectively to resolve differences, maintain positive relationships.

EDUCATION
PROGRAMS
If you’re looking to transform your
school or make a significant impact
district-wide in creating strong
educational leaders, then look no further
than Sixth Element’s comprehensive
professional development. Whether our
education institutes assessment, teacher
training or PTA programs, our proven
methods assist teachers in achieving the
desired goal that prepares students for
success in college and career with strong
character and citizenship traits.
EDUCATION INSTITUTE ASSESSMENT
The assessment program provides an objective and in-depth assessment of
institute's internal and external resources along with student skills in key
learning areas which in turn will increase the growth of the institute and
develop a brand name.
This assessment reveals academic strengths and weaknesses of the institute
and students through scientifically graded assessment questions.
The detailed assessment enables the institute and it's teachers to: monitor
and compare students' performance within the school, region and
internationally, discover students' latent potential and identify growth
areas, modify classroom activities and develop appropriate learning
programs
T TEACHER’S TRAINING
Our main concern is the lack of due importance given to teacher
development programs and the missing emphasis of developing teachers
as part of the teaching-learning life cycle.
Great teachers help create great students. In fact, research shows that an
inspiring and informed teacher is the most important school-related factor
influencing student achievement, so it is critical to pay close attention to
how we train and support both new and experienced educators.
This program will act as the formal bridge linking the fields of
neuroscience, psychology, and education that has been missing for
decades.

PTA SOLUTION
Families and teachers together
to support student success.
Studies have shown that when parents are consistently involved with their
children’s education, students are more likely to earn higher grades, achieve better
test scores, and develop stronger social skills. No one knows this better than Sixth
Element. That’s why we’re offering to host your next parent/teacher conference to
educate parents on the power they have over their child’s learning potential. Our
complimentary Family Engagement Forum will teach parents some valuable
techniques that they can practice at home with their children to make a real impact
on their learning.
The workshop covers powerful strategies parents can use to engage their children
in a dynamic educational experience. Included are
• Positive study habits
• Powerful communication
• Strength of character

SCHOOL THAT LEARNS
Few would argue that schools today are in trouble. The problems are sparkling a national debate as educators,
school boards, administrators, and parents search for ways to strengthen our school system at all levels. More
effectively respond to the rapidly changing world around us and better educate our children.
Stage Present Structure Neuro-Education
Infant stage
where your child
is a blank slate
and absorbs
information like a
sponge which
stays with him
throughout his
life. So what
valuable
information do
you want to
impart for him to
develop his
potential.
Student
Curious and creative. Exploring
things around him.
Physiological development.
Introduction to language.
Parent
Suppress this tendency of exploring
of their child due to their insecurities
and fear also they are busy earning
bread and butter for their survival.
Developing strong emotional bond
with your child, communication
directed towards building the child’s
identity, developing food
habits(balanced diet)
Through continuous PTA meeting,
Teacher
The pre – primary schooling structure
is developed by Ms. Montessori
which has been working smoothly till
date and the teachers are doing their
best with the available resources with
them.
Teaching of shapes and form in
limited time available with them.
Introduction of language for
communication
Apart from this the role of the teachers
would be communicating with the
parents about physiological
development and learning
disabilities. And making parents aware
about how his kid is learning, it should
not break in his future education.

Preadolescence
Stage
your child models
you and the
environment he is
growing up in. so
what physiological
and neurological
traits are you
passing down to
your child?
Student
Drastic change in study pattern,
environment. Pressure of
homework, projects and exams.
Most of the time, more attention
and priority is given to academics
and not psychological and
emotional areas in a child’s life.
Children in this period primarily learn
via modelling people around them
and these learning stay with them
throughout their life. So finding out
their learning strategies, their
strengths and potentials and working
on improving them. Designing a
modal that will focus on the holistic
development of a student along with
their academics.
Parent
Beginning of labelling,
comparison, rat race
Re-designing the structure of PTA
meeting whereby parents will be
taught what and how to communicate
with their child keeping their career
development in mind.
Teacher Favoritism, pampering
Teachers training will primarily focus
on how the teachers can stay
resourceful in all the time along with
communication, as effective
communication bridges the gap and
help the student develop trust on their
teachers.

Stage
Student
This is where exploration of the world
begins. Typically you will see students
divided in 2 groups: one who are always
surrounded by books and other who bunk
the classes to have fun. Some common
problems we observed in this stage are
Constant struggle between right and wrong,
accepted by society, addictions, career
indecisiveness
Learning of e-modal. Developing skills that will
make a student ready for employment/
entrepreneurship. Establishing their bounce back
strategies. Field visit that will actually show what
challenges can one face if they choose these

Parent
Parents are usually surrounded by stress and
insecurities of their child’s career. They
want their child to have the best career
option available and seek help from various
professionals which actually takes them
nowhere.
Preparing parents mentality for the career shift
happening because of the oncoming revolution
(Nano technology and robotics) and having
communication with their child accordingly.
Teacher
Teachers are engrossed on in teaching the

holistic development of the career
Continuous updation of changes in career because
of forth coming revolution.
