A diffuser is a device that controls pollution in wastewater by generating bubbles of air that produce enzymes to break down pollutants. Diffusers come in two types for generating fine or coarse bubbles and are applicable in biological and activated sludge wastewater treatment, as well as municipal wastewater facilities, by interacting air with waste to naturally treat sewage water.
