2. Aesthetic Plants
• Aesthetic plants are indoor plants with beautiful and
captivating features that add visual interest to anyone's
home.
• Such features can range from stunning colors contrasts,
to beautiful foliage shape.
• Landscape design is concerned both with aesthetic and
functional elements of landscaping.

3. • In this presentation we choose 5 aesthetic plants are:
 Petunias Plants
 Combretumindicum Plants
 Hybrid lilies Plants
 Marigold Plants
 Gazania plants

4. Petunia Plants
• Petunias are versatile annuals.
• They can be used for color masses, borders, containers,
hanging baskets or as a seasonal groundcover.
• Petunias should be planted in full sunlight. They will
become spindly and have few flowers if grown in shade.

6. Combretum indicum Plant
• The flowers change in color with age and it is
considered that this is a wise strategy to gather more
pollinators like bees and birds by attractive flowers.
• The plant is used as herbal medicine.
• Decoctions of the root, seed, or fruit can be used as
anthelmintic to expel parasitic worms or for alleviating
diarrhea.

8. Marigold Plants
• It is believed that the spirits of the dead visit the living
during the celebration.
• Marigolds guide the spirits to their altars using their
vibrant colors and pungent scent.
• This is how a relative can still stay 'in touch' with the
beloved deceased ones, a big comfort.

10. Hybrid lilies Plants
• Hybrid lilies can be classified into two categories,
Oriental hybrids and Asiatic hybrids.
 Orientals are characterized by large (6-8"); highly
fragrant; red, purple, pink, or white flowers.
 Asiatic have smaller blooms (3-4") with no fragrance
and are available in bright shades of gold, yellow,
orange, rose, pink and white.
• The natural season for flowering of Asiatic lilies is late
spring and early summer.
• Oriental lilies bloom naturally in late summer.

12. Gazania Plants
• Gazania plants are adaptable enough to overwinter
indoors so you won't need to purchase new plants or
seeds for the next growing season.
• You can dig up the plant at autumn's end while they are
still in bloom, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside.
