Jack Holloway is currently studying multimedia journalism at South Downs College. He enjoys sports, films, video games, and spending time with family and friends. He has previously studied at several schools in Petersfield leading up to his current studies. After college, Jack hopes to gain work experience at the Portsmouth News or get an apprenticeship writing sports articles for newspapers. He came up with an idea for a pop music magazine inspired by other music magazines, finding a small gap in the market to fill.

 My name is Jack Holloway
 I’m currently studying at South Downs College, doing multimedia
level 3 journalism.
 I enjoy sports, films, video games and spemding time with family
and friends.

 I’ve studied at The Petersfield infant school 2003-2008
 Herne Junior school 2004-2008
 The Petersfield school 2008-2013
 South Downs College September 2013-2016 (present)

4. After college
 Once I’ve finished college I attend on getting work experiemce, the
Portsmouth news would be a good starting place as it is local.
 Or a possible apprenticeship working in print ideally newspapers
writing sports articles.

5. My magazine idea (front cover)
 Inspiration for my front cover came from magazines such as
Bilboard and We Love Pop these are two similar genre of music
magazines.
 However they are very different in style which from gathering
inforamtion by doing secondary research I saw there was a small
gap in the market for my Pop magazine.

 For my double page spread I also took inspiration from Bilboard in
particular as they would use one main image for either side then
have writing to the side of the image.
