The Provincial Centre for Adult Education in Ghent had over 16,000 student enrolments representing over 10,000 individuals in 2008-2009. With 287 staff members across 24 teaching sites, the 118 year old institution offers courses in 13 language departments. It has participated in several European Union funded projects focused on internationalization, entrepreneurship, wellness, and lifelong learning.
