Introduction 
• Mathematics have for long time been perceived as a 
complicated subject to learn. 
• To have a passion for something request an expression 
of emotions and feelings which could be challenging to 
convey in a classroom 
• .. However modern findings in educational sciences 
provide tools and techniques which allow everyone to be 
passionate about mathematics 
.
Some definitions… 
Terms and acronyms used during the presentation need to be define first for a better understanding 
of the concept. 
• Passion (from the Latin verb patere meaning to suffer) is a term applied to a very strong feeling 
about a person or thing. Passion is an intense emotion, compelling enthusiasm or desire for 
anything. The term is also often applied to a friendly or eager interest in or admiration for a 
proposal, cause, or activity or love – to a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling 
emotion, a positive affinity or love, towards a subject. 
• Mathematics: Mathematics (from μάθημα máthēma, “knowledge, study, learning”) is the study of 
topics such as quantity (numbers),structure, space, and change. 
• C.A.R.E.S stands for Customized And Realistic Educational System. It takes in account the 
differentiation in classroom management and the pragmatic aspect that requires further 
education colleges 
• S.I.M is an acronym defining a type of reasoning ;the way the brain must process math lessons in 
order to excel in mathematics subject, this method is universal and is taught at the first year of 
mathematics faculty.

and every lesson of mathematic…”

• Symbols and principle 
memorization 
• Illustration 
• Multi-patterns

Symbols and principle memorization 
Sing or rhyme theorems, principles, property and 
axioms of mathematics 
Song is a wonderful way to remember information. 
By the end of the year we can publish a tape of math 
GCSE (principles and theorems).
Illustration 
• The memorized principles need 
to be illustrated 
• Research have shown that FE 
students are, as a majority, visual-kinesthetic 
as learning styles
• Contextualizing the lesson to their subject or their living 
environment 
Choosing an activity that is enjoyable to the student, and 
slightly above their skill level and then raising the challenge as 
a performance improves. 
Along the way, monitoring progress and focusing on a goal is 
important to this technique. 
With the permission of my hierarchy I will conduct some 
activity in the workshop, labs, saloon, outside de building to 
make more realistic and living ( C.A.R.E.S model)

accomplish something difficult and worthwhile.”

Wording adaptation for lesson delivery 
-Foster creativity- 
•Allow student to create their own topics for projects 
based on the curriculum.
Multi-patterns principles 
application
• Collaborative club for extracurricular activities 
The collaborative math club is a campus club and online platform for 
mathematics amateur 
• Utilizing the C.A .R.E.S model 
A class and out class coaching system to help reluctant student in a particular 
subject 
• With social media environment (Google+ hangout) 
Google+ Hangouts is a free video chat service from Google that enables both 
one-on-one chats and group chats with up to ten people at a time 
• Fun activities (contest, team challenge) with rewards 
Why that? Because placing learning experiences ‘in context’ with social and emotional 
cues is said to reinforce learning
conclusion 
With that technique, students will be, in a short time, 
passionate and well prepared in mathematics for their final 
exam. 
200% of commitment / 300% of creativity /200% of discipline 
300% of teamwork
“Play stimulates nerve growth in the portions 
of the brain that process emotions and 
executive function”. 
If learning loses its fun, than it becomes a 
mundane task where passion cannot coexist.

  • 1. Communicating passion for Maths… Presented by Ngolo Luc Kone
  • 2. Introduction • Mathematics have for long time been perceived as a complicated subject to learn. • To have a passion for something request an expression of emotions and feelings which could be challenging to convey in a classroom • .. However modern findings in educational sciences provide tools and techniques which allow everyone to be passionate about mathematics .
  • 3. Some definitions… Terms and acronyms used during the presentation need to be define first for a better understanding of the concept. • Passion (from the Latin verb patere meaning to suffer) is a term applied to a very strong feeling about a person or thing. Passion is an intense emotion, compelling enthusiasm or desire for anything. The term is also often applied to a friendly or eager interest in or admiration for a proposal, cause, or activity or love – to a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion, a positive affinity or love, towards a subject. • Mathematics: Mathematics (from μάθημα máthēma, “knowledge, study, learning”) is the study of topics such as quantity (numbers),structure, space, and change. • C.A.R.E.S stands for Customized And Realistic Educational System. It takes in account the differentiation in classroom management and the pragmatic aspect that requires further education colleges • S.I.M is an acronym defining a type of reasoning ;the way the brain must process math lessons in order to excel in mathematics subject, this method is universal and is taught at the first year of mathematics faculty.

  • 5. S.I.M • Symbols and principle memorization • Illustration • Multi-patterns principles application
  • 6. Symbols and principle memorization Sing or rhyme theorems, principles, property and axioms of mathematics Song is a wonderful way to remember information. By the end of the year we can publish a tape of math GCSE (principles and theorems).
  • 7. Illustration • The memorized principles need to be illustrated • Research have shown that FE students are, as a majority, visual-kinesthetic as learning styles
  • 8. • Contextualizing the lesson to their subject or their living environment Choosing an activity that is enjoyable to the student, and slightly above their skill level and then raising the challenge as a performance improves. Along the way, monitoring progress and focusing on a goal is important to this technique. With the permission of my hierarchy I will conduct some activity in the workshop, labs, saloon, outside de building to make more realistic and living ( C.A.R.E.S model)

  • 10. Wording adaptation for lesson delivery -Foster creativity- •Allow student to create their own topics for projects based on the curriculum.
  • 12. • Collaborative club for extracurricular activities The collaborative math club is a campus club and online platform for mathematics amateur • Utilizing the C.A .R.E.S model A class and out class coaching system to help reluctant student in a particular subject • With social media environment (Google+ hangout) Google+ Hangouts is a free video chat service from Google that enables both one-on-one chats and group chats with up to ten people at a time • Fun activities (contest, team challenge) with rewards Why that? Because placing learning experiences ‘in context’ with social and emotional cues is said to reinforce learning
  • 13. conclusion With that technique, students will be, in a short time, passionate and well prepared in mathematics for their final exam. 200% of commitment / 300% of creativity /200% of discipline 300% of teamwork
  • 14. “Play stimulates nerve growth in the portions of the brain that process emotions and executive function”. If learning loses its fun, than it becomes a mundane task where passion cannot coexist.
