Ujima Care Services provides support to 444 people through 13 housing schemes that support older people, those with mental health issues, and those in supported housing. The older persons schemes provide accommodation and on-site support through activities and emergency response systems. Mental health schemes also provide housing with varying levels of support and activities. Supported housing covers a range of residents but some homes are in poor condition and not seen as sustainable for the future. Overall, the older persons and mental health services are well-regarded but supported housing may need to be merged with other floating support providers.
