7. Supply - Player acquisition
• The key to cracking players (supply side) is actually stable
demand. If we can provide missions that players like to do then
getting more of them doesn’t seem to be an issue.
• We want to be able to control the supply side. We’re basically
experimenting, learning and building channels to acquire players,
some of them are.
– SquadRun active influencers (50) that act as our marketing/outreach
associates
– On-ground/guerrilla campaigns - from ‘free banta for download’
campaigns (that got covered in HT City) to #GetPaidToPoop. Small
ripples across the country. Very high quality channel!
– E-mail marketing - we have acquired database of 10 lac students across
India from proprietary sources. Cracked 35%+ open rate and around 10%
click rate.
– Facebook marketing - we’re seeing downloads at Rs 2!
– More social media campaigns for engagement (#SquadVachan, etc)
– After 1500-2000 active players, virality will take over! Referrals/invite

10. Business Model
• We charge 20% commission on each transaction.
• Average value per remote mission is USD 0.50 and for on-site
mission is USD 3.
• In future, we also plan to charge a platform usage fee similar
to SaaS platform for using our DIY system and analytics
features.
• We will also charge an affiliate commission on the reward
side from partners like payTM, jabong, amazon, flipkart,
uber, etc.
• Several alternate revenue streams possible in the future with
a larger player base.
