Our Wines
• Origin: Médoc – Bordeaux, France.
• 1850 arrived in Chile from France, and was confused with
Merlot.
• 1860 it was extinct in Europe by filoxera plague/ disease, 
small insect that extract the savia of the roofs and leaves.
• 1994 was re‐discovered in Chile by the french
ampelographic Jean‐ Michel Boursiquot
Carmenère
2006 first Carmenère Challenge in Chile: “Carmenère al Mundo”, 
RAVANAL LIMITED SELECTION, received a GOLD MEDAL and THE BEST 
CARMENERE BLEND AWARD.
