The biggest project for Gonzalez Byass in recent years has been the construction of the Finca Constancia winery in Otero, Toledo. Focused on the production of still wines under the classification of Vinos de la Tierra and surrounded by over 200 hectares of vineyards, the wines are produced with both indigenous and international varieties in a modern, fruit driven style.

Recent Prizes Viñas del Vero 2009: Challenge International Du Vin: Secastilla 2005 – Silver IWSC: Secastilla 2005 – Silver Mundus Vini : Chardonnay 2008 – Gold Expansion: Blecua 2004 – 15 top wines in Spain 2008: Robert Parker: Blecua – 94 points, Secastilla – 91 points, Gran Vos – 91 points
BLECUA Our icon wine is the result of a “triple selección” process: 1) Selection of vineyards: The seven best parcels from our vineyards were selected to be the source of the grapes from which Blecua is produced (14 has.) 2) Selection of bunches: i n the vineyards (hand pick grapes) and in the cellar (triage table) 3) Selection of barrels: new Allier oak barrels from 4 different cooperages SECASTILLA On stony slopes between 700 and 800 metres above sea level, we have recovered very old Garnacha vineyards, the traditional variety from Secastilla Valley. The altitude together with a special orientation of the vines ensures many hours of sunshine, which naturally favors the ripening of the fruit. Since the moment we discovered this area, we have been working to recover old vineyards and planting new ones: Parraleta, Moristel, Cariñena, ...... total 40 has. We currently produce Secastilla, La Miranda de Secastilla and La Miranda Blanca in this area.
Chinchón is part of the Gonzalez Byass group since 1969 – Here, Chinchón anisettes and other liquors are produced.
