 Iberdrola takes a decisive step towards photovoltaic energy with the
construction of the photovoltaic plant of Núñez de Balboa in Usagre (Badajoz).
The plant, which will have an installed capacity of 500 MWp (391 MW of
maximum power connection to the grid) after its entry into operation,
scheduled for September 2020, will provide clean energy to 250,000 people,
more than the population of the cities of Cáceres and Badajoz. Some figures
that make the new development the largest photovoltaic project in Europe and

3. 2. RELAXATION OF CLEAN ENERGIES IN SPAIN
 The project is part of Iberdrola's plan to launch 2,000 new megawatts of
