My prelim task involved filming a two-person dialogue with a group using various camera shots to familiarize ourselves with film basics and socialize within our class. Close-ups and two-person shots were most effective at showing facial expressions and reactions. An over-the-shoulder shot was less effective as it crossed the 180-degree line and made the actors appear beside rather than opposite each other. In the future, we would change the camera angle and have a more dramatic dialogue to better appeal to audiences.
