This document summarizes a prefabricated compact substation. It includes: 1) The substation is suitable for neighborhoods, hotels, work sites, and high buildings with voltages of 11kV, 15/22kV, or 33kV and a frequency of 50Hz with capacities under 2500kVA. 2) It has an air temperature range of -25°C to 40°C, humidity of 95% monthly and 90% daily, and can be installed up to 2500m altitude in non-polluted environments with no frequent shaking. 3) Main components include medium voltage switchgear, oil or dry-type transformer, and low voltage switchboard. 2. ++++General
YBW series products is a kind of complete
solution which assembles the MV RMU,
transformer, LV distribution equipment
together according to fixed connection
scheme. This series substation is suitable for
neighborhood unit, hotel, large-scale work site
and high building that the voltage is 11kV
15/22kV/33kV/, the frequency is 50Hz and the
capacity is under 2500kvA.

3. ++++ Main Designation Characteristics
l The crust of the substation is designed according to the advanced technology and
physical reality. We provide many kinds of crust material such as aluminum alloy steel
composite stainless steel board and non metal material (glass fiber).
l The HV side use load break switch or vacuum circuit breaker. The transformer could be
oil type hermetically-sealed type or dry type.
l The proof of the box is double layers structure and between the layers is filled with foam.
There are independent boards in HV and LV room, and in the transformer room will install
auto thermal controller heater and cooling fan

++++M.V. Compartment: ( IP 44)
This Primary side of pre-fabricated substation uses difference design RMU including SF6
gas insulation RMU or Air insulation RMU( with SF6 load break switch built inside) as its
HV incoming and outgoing network realized the power ring system easily. And the
substation selects integrated automation system which can realize unattended mode.

4. ++++ Transformer Compartment: ( IP 23)
This type substations normally use three phase oil immersed power transformer 15kV

Transformer compartment is designed to accommodate a 3-Phase, oil immersed naturally
air cooled power transformer
A) Cable connection copper of suitable size for connection
Between MV transformer bushing and MV Switchgear
B) Set of Cables or Bus bars for the connection

++++ Low Voltage Compartment: ( IP 23)
The switchboard design use difference solution accordingly to customer demand, there is
GGD/GCK/GCK/MNS etc LV switchboard is designed to accommodate the Main incomer
feeder
for the transformer protection which is located at the middle top (MCCB, Open frame
CB, fused disconnector ...).
Tandem number of outgoing according to attached specifications.
Two instruments panels shall be provided and located at the top to accommodate
measuring meters.
