L&T DIGITAL AMMETER CL0.5
True RMS measurement of voltage and current parameters are
achieved by single function Ammeter (WL1110 / WL1310) and
Voltmeter (WL1120 / WL1320) series. These are available in Class 1 and 0.5.

The rating of the ACB is higher than the MCCBs.
Due to this high current rating a ACB is used in
the circuit with a larger circuit current.
The ACB also operates in two different modes. One can be the
magnetic mode and the other is thermal magnetic mode.
Types of air circuit breakers:
Plain air circuit breaker / Cross blast air circuit breaker:

The MCCB has improved rating as compared to the ACB.
The tripping thresholds can be adjusted easily in the MCCB. This parameter makes the MCCB
favorable in different circuits over other circuit breakers.
MCCBs are considered more accurate than the ACBs due
to use of different technologies in MCCBs. The
improvements in the technologies have made the circuit
breakers more accurate and précised.
The MCCB is better than the ACB in different parameters
like breaking capability.

The VCB is ‘draw out’ type and can
be racked out directly on the floor.

Current Transformer
• A current transformer
(CT) is used for
measurement of
alternating electric
currents
Current transformer are used in electrical power system for stepping down
currents of the system for metering and protection purpose.
A CT functions with the same basic working principle of electrical power
transformer
CT steps down rated system current to 1 Amp or 5 Amp.
Because the relays and meters are generally designed for 1 Amp, 5 Amp and
110V
BUSBAR
• Busbar is a strip or bar of copper, brass
or aluminium that conducts electricity
within a switchboard, distribution board,
substation.
• The cross-sectional size of the busbar
determines the maximum amount of
current.
• Used to interconnect the loads and
sources of electrical power
High-voltage cable
A high-voltage cable (HV cable) is a cable used for electric power
transmission at high voltage.
For circuits operating at or above 2,000 volts between conductors, a
conductive shield may surround each insulated conductor. This equalizes
electrical stress on the cable insulation.
Those of 10 to 33 kV are usually called medium voltage cables, those over
50 kV high voltage cables.
Most high-voltage cables for power transmission that are currently sold on
the market are insulated by a sheath of XLPE. They have metallic screen or
sheath is followed by a polymeric (e.g. PE or PVC) outer jacket.
 Most producers of XLPE-compound specify an "extra clean" grade where
the number and size of foreign particles are guaranteed.
Classification of cables based on Voltage
rating:
• Uo/U : Phase to earth voltage
• Uo : Voltage between conductor and earth
• U : Voltage between phases (conductors)
• (i) Low-tension (LT) cables — upto 1000 V
• (ii) High-tension (HT) cables — upto 11,000 V
• (iii) Super-tension (ST) cables — from 22 kV to 33 kV
• (iv) Extra high-tension (EHT) cables — from 33 kV to 66 kV
• (v) Extra super voltage cables — beyond 132 kV
• A low-voltage system usually has a solidly earthed neutral
• High-voltage cables used in Shell installations

  • 6. The rating of the ACB is higher than the MCCBs. Due to this high current rating a ACB is used in the circuit with a larger circuit current. The ACB also operates in two different modes. One can be the magnetic mode and the other is thermal magnetic mode. This parameter makes the MCCB favorable in different circuits over other circuit breakers. MCCBs are considered more accurate than the ACBs due to use of different technologies in MCCBs. High-voltage cable A high-voltage cable (HV cable) is a cable used for electric power transmission at high voltage. For circuits operating at or above 2,000 volts between conductors, a conductive shield may surround each insulated conductor. This equalizes electrical stress on the cable insulation. Those of 10 to 33 kV are usually called medium voltage cables, those over 50 kV high voltage cables. Most high-voltage cables for power transmission that are currently sold on the market are insulated by a sheath of XLPE. They have metallic screen or sheath is followed by a polymeric (e.g. PE or PVC) outer jacket.  Most producers of XLPE-compound specify an "extra clean" grade where the number and size of foreign particles are guaranteed.
