Bulgarian piloting impact
Piloting sessions of the VISAGE toolkit for unemployed visually impaired people were conducted in multiple cities in Bulgaria between September 2010 and March 2011. A total of 90 unemployed visually impaired people participated in the pilot sessions. The document describes that the VISAGE toolkit provided useful and necessary tools for finding employment, especially for those between 40-50 years old who were long-term unemployed. Participants felt more confident and positive about finding a job after completing the training.

The Peel Region in Australia has a rapidly expanding population of over 70,000 people concentrated in a few key areas. It faces regional issues such as higher unemployment and lower levels of lifelong learning. A $6 billion development is planned which will require new skills. Barriers to training in the region include isolation, lack of transportation, and limited awareness of opportunities. The project aims to address skills shortages by developing flexible training delivery strategies incorporating e-learning to increase opportunities in smaller communities. This project aims to develop the Kanyama Youth Programme (KYP) vocational training centre in Lusaka, Zambia over 2009-2011. The project seeks to enhance employment opportunities for young people, especially women, through improved and updated vocational training. This will be achieved by updating curricula to meet job market needs, improving teaching quality, integrating entrepreneurship training, and strengthening KYP's financial sustainability. The National Union of University Students in Finland and KYP have collaborated since 2003, resulting in increased employment and small business startups among graduates. However, further improvements are needed to teaching materials and equipment. If successful, this continuation project will diminish the negative impacts of poverty through expanded access to skills training.

1) Transfer resources developed by the UNESCO Chair in Inclusive PE, Sport, Fitness and Recreation at the Institute of Technology Tralee to equip fitness professionals with skills to work with people with disabilities.

Due to Covid-19, their income decreased but they secured additional funding from Welsh Government to help colleges address the pandemic's impact. They continued advocating for colleges and learners through policy work, research, and partnership programs.
HAIVISIO presentation at eHealth Forum 2014!
This document introduces HAIVISIO, a project that aims to enhance the visibility of results from eHealth, active aging, and independent living projects. It offers services like advice and training on dissemination and exploitation, facilitating collaborations between projects, and promoting projects' results through online communities and events. Current status shows 44 registered people, 35 registered projects, and 32 registered assets. The consortium includes ATOS Spain, HIM, AGE, Dundalk Institute of Technology, and VILABS.

PROJECT ANGELS
Project Angels is a coaching program that trains "trainers" in Latin America to help researchers there participate in European Union funding opportunities like FP7. It began in 2009 and has held courses in multiple Latin American countries. Over 100 people have applied, 70 have actively participated, and 25 are now active Project Angels providing coaching. The program aims to increase Latin American participation in EU projects and create lasting partnerships. Past participants have submitted several project proposals to EU funding calls and two received travel grants to attend events in Europe. Future plans include continuing coaching support and involvement in related programs to expand the Project Angels network.

EMPHASIS is a 5-year initiative funded by the Big Lottery Fund, UK to reduce the vulnerability of mobile populations in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal to HIV/AIDS. It aims to deliver interventions along mobility routes to influence policies relating to safe mobility. High poverty, unemployment, instability, and economic opportunities drive mobility between the countries. Mobility increases HIV risk due to isolation, exploitation, and limited access to services. EMPHASIS will test cross-border service models, build knowledge of mobile populations, build partner capacity, and influence policies and attitudes across the two main routes: Bangladesh to Kolkata, India and Nepal to Delhi, India.
Looking beyond EU Structural Funds - the Leonardo programme
Kelly Davies developed the social enterprise Vi-Ability to help tackle issues like unemployment and disengagement among youth. Through a football-based training program, Vi-Ability teaches young people skills to support their local football clubs and develop employability skills.
Vi-Ability applied for and received a Leonardo grant to send participants on placements with professional football clubs in Italy and Sweden. This was intended to enhance the training by exposing participants to best practices in European football management, coaching, and community engagement.
The placements involved participants shadowing club staff, observing coaching sessions, and learning about marketing strategies. Monitoring and evaluation found that all goals were met, with many participants gaining employment in football or further education after
