• design an innovative culinary product with
emphasis on the culinary heritage of Slovenian
Istria
• market the product to either consume on-site or as
a take-away meal or as a souvenir
• connect producers of local ingredients and
providers of accommodation in a joint offer for
guests

9. The impact of playing
musical instruments
on muscle symmetry

10. Project goal
• When playing musical instruments, there are certain muscle groups
that are more active than the others due to non-physiological body
posture, which can create an imbalance in the muscle tonus, muscle
structure, flexibility, etc. With the help of non-invasive, selective and
highly sensitive method called Tensiomyography (TMG) we can
determine the early ergonomic adjustments to selected muscles and
measure the muscular imbalances with children and adolescent
musicians.
• We find it very important for musicians to receive adequate physical
models of playing an instrument, preventive or corrective exercise
programs during their education, as the appropriate handling of the
body allows them to maintain a high-quality musical activity and a
healthy life.

11. Results of the project
• Research of various existing physical models (preventative exercises,
warming up, corrective exercises, etc.) by young musicians playing
instruments.
• Research results of muscle imbalances with young musicians.
• Linking the health problems with mentioned research.
• Optimization of the most suitable motor designs to prevent later
health problems.

14. • Aim of the study:
• To determine the effects of chilli peppers sauce consumption on human
health
• Chili peppers contain capsaicin, a phenolic compound responsible for
their characteristics taste and pungency. Capsaicin has also anti-
inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant activity, in addition to
decreasing LDL cholesterol and the effect on blood glucose and
insulin levels. Therefore, we assume that capsaicin has a beneficial
effects on human health.
