DWI HANTORO
 Dwi Hantoro is Reading the book of Harry Potter
From the example above, we should delete the referring
expression on the sentence to identify where is the
predicator.
Dwi Hantoro is reading the book of Harry Potter
So we get “is reading” or we call it “Remainders”, but we
don’t have found the predicator yet.
We should isolate the remainder “is reading” into the original
sentence we call the predicators of the sentences.
“is reading” the original of it is “Read”
So the predicator of the sentence
Dwi Hantoro is Reading the book of Harry Potter
Is Read
The Predicator is a simple word which does not
belong to any of the referring expression and which of
the remainder, makes the most specific contribution to
the meaning of the sentence
 The children blew the balloon
 Shawn is in United Kingdom
 Pancasila field is behind STAIN Salatiga.
 The hospital is outside the city
 The parking area of Stain Salatiga is full
Predicate is any word (of sequence of words) which (in a
given single sense) can function as the predicator of a
sentence.
One sentence contain predicate and predicator.
“a fat, pretty lawyer joined the session ”
The predicator is join and the rest of it we can call it
predicate. A fat, pretty, lawyer, session, is function as
predicate and can function as predicator in other
sentences.
 He hit the dog roughly
 My love is your enemy
 The victim at the street is female
 The naughty young man walk to the canteen
 The parking area of Stain Salatiga is full
